WE ARE DANCE XONE!
Dance Xone’s opening in the Fall of 2000 was the realization of a lifelong dream of the director, Carol Henry-Chappell. We are a family owned and family friendly business conveniently located at University Mall in Fairfax. Our dancers have come from eight different Fairfax County school pyramids, as well as many private schools.
Our mission is to provide outstanding dance education, both for the recreational and competitive dancer, in a wide range of styles, while fostering growth of the whole individual. We believe in a strong mind-body-spirit connection, and that dance, while teaching the body and mind, allows creativity to be nurtured and creates happier young people.
We believe dancers can perform at a high level and be competitive, and also be able to do other things outside of the studio. Dance Xone houses musicians, artists, athletes in all sports, scouts, scholars, and more!
At Dance Xone we have created a positive atmosphere where dancers are encouraged and applauded and where we promote kindness. Our dancers choose to do many great things in a vast variety of fields after graduating (we have doctors, teachers, lawyers, advocates, business people, parents, writers, and more!). Numerous Dance Xone dancers go on to work and perform in the dance, performing arts, and fitness arenas. More importantly, our dancers have cultivated lifelong friendships and developed a forever appreciation for the arts.
Our outstanding staff bring their dance education (BFA dance degrees), professional dance experience, specialty certifications, as well degrees and experience in teaching, and their unique talents to our studio. We take pride in what we have built over 23 years. Come dance with us!
